About Michelle

Michelle Toth has more than twenty years of experience in roles including entrepreneur, consultant, and executive. Prior to starting her executive coaching practice and SixOneSeven Group in 2017, she was a Senior Vice President and Head of Human Capital for the D. E. Shaw Group, a technology development and investment management firm with $40 billion in assets under management, based in New York City.

 

Earlier, Michelle was a co‐founder and Practice Leader of Monitor Executive Development, a division of Monitor Group, the strategy consultancy now part of Deloitte. There she participated in David Kantor’s (The Kantor Institute) coach development program and co‐developed an adult learning framework. At the start of her Monitor career, Michelle was responsible for human capital and staff development in Marketspace, Monitor’s digital strategy group.

Prior to her work at Monitor she founded and led a venture capital-backed Internet startup focused on online learning and personal development. She was a research associate at Harvard Business School concentrating on e‐commerce businesses, and worked in three startup companies. Michelle began her career as a consultant in organizational effectiveness for Kearney, Inc.
